Students can learn about the additive manufacturing process, including the different types of 3D printing technologies the materials used for printing, and the post-processing steps required to finish a printed part.
DFAM has the potential to transform the manufacturing industry, and by teaching it to students at a young age, K-12 schools can prepare them for the future of manufacturing.

3D Modeling 
and CAD Design

Students can learn to use 3D slicing softwares and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software with a DFAM workflow to create complex designs that can be printed efficiently & effectively using different 3D printing technologies.

Applications

Students are exposed to real-world applications of DFAM, such as the production of our education products, home goods, fashion, & more.
